Section 1107(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)To enable the Inspector-General to submit to the Provincial Government an annual report on the administration of his department, Superintendents shall submit on the expiry of each calendar year an annual report in two portions, one regarding crime and the other regarding departmental matters.
