Section 10 in The Bihar and Orissa General Clauses Act, 1917
10. Construction of references to Repealed Enactments.
- Where any Bihar and Orissa Act [or Bihar Act] [Inserted by A.O. 1937.] repeals and re-enacts, with or without modification, any provision of a former enactment, references in any other enactment or in any instrument to the provision so repealed shall, unless a different intention appears, be construed as references to the provision so re-enacted.
