Section 28 in The Jammu and Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act, 2002
28. Transitional Provisions.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act and Statutes [the first Vice-Chancellor, Executive Council] [Substituted for the words the '[Executive Council]' by Act XVI of 2005 (Section 2). w.e.f. 26th September, 2004.] and the Academic Council shall be nominated by the Council and shall hold office for a term of three years :Provided that the Vice-Chancellors of the University of Kashmir and the University of Jammu shall be ex-officio members of the Executive Council so nominated.
