Section 6 in The U.P. Epidemic Diseases Regulations, 1983
6. Officers authorised to check the pilgrims.
- The Zila Adhikari or the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Dehra Dun, Garhwal, Tehri-Garhwai, Chamoli and Uttar Kashi or any person authorised by aforesaid Officers may prohibit the pilgrims from entering upon or proceeding along the pilgrim route who rail to produce when demanded the inoculation certificate or refuse to get himself inoculated under regulations.
