Section 5(1) in The Rajasthan Municipalities (Compounding and Compromising of Offences) Rules, 1966
(1)Subject to the provisions of Ride 4, a Board may accept from any person in respect of whom there is reasonable ground to believe that he has committed act or omission made punishable under the Act or bye- laws made thereunder a sum of money by way of compensation therefor.
