(3)After the expiry of a period for objection to be mentioned in a notification under sub-section (1), the [State Government] [Words 'Provincial Government' substituted for the words 'Local Government' by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937 and thereafter the word 'State' substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] shall consider the objections and suggestions, if any received by it and thereafter may, by notification, declare any, river or depression notified under that sub-section to be a dead or decayed river, and such declaration shall be final and shall not be questioned in any Court or in any other manner whatsoever.
