Facts:
1. The appellant filed RTI application dated 24.04.2012 seeking information about the performance/tours of an artist namely Ms. Ranjana Gauhar etc.
2. The Commission vide order no. CIC/SM/C/2012/000837 dated 28.08.2012 had disposed of the complaint and remanded to the first appellate authority. In compliance of the order, the first appellate authority disposed of the matter on 27.09.2012.
3. The complainant vide letter dated 11.10.2012 requested the Commission to treat his complaint closed. Hearing:
4. The complainant did not participate in the hearing. The respondent through counsel in person participated in the hearing. Discussion/ observation:
5. From the perusal of the record, the Commission observed that the complainant vide letter dated 11.10.2012 had requested the Commission to treat his complaint closed.
Decision:
16. No action is required in the matter at the level of this Commission.
