1. Title, commencement and applicability.
- 1.1 These regulations shall be called the "UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009".1.2They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.1.3They shall apply to all the institutions coming within the definition of an University under sub-section (f) of section (2) of the University Grants Commission Act,
