Section 36 in The Medical Council Of India Regulations, 2000
36. Executive Committee .-The members of the Executive Committee who may be elected by the Council under sub-section (1) of section 10 shall be elected by the members of the Council present and voting together, in the proportion of-
(a)four members from amongst University representatives,(b)three members from amongst nominated members,(c)two members from amongst representatives, of registered graduates, and(d)one member of the Licentiates Group, as provided in the Medical Council of India (Conduct of Elections to the posts of President, Vice-President, members of the Executive Committee and the elected members of the Postgraduate Medical Education Committee) Regulations, 1998.
