Section 370(1) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(1)The Commissioner may by public notice prohibit the washing of clothes by washermen in the exercise of their calling within the City, except at-(a)public wash-houses or places maintained or provided under section 369; or(b)such other places as he may appoint for the purpose.
