Section 18(2) in The Kerala Prisons and Correctional Services (Management) Act, 2010
(2)All officers and staff of the prison subordinate to the Superintendent shall obey the directions of the Superintendent and perform such duties as may be assigned to then by the Superintendent or such officer authorised in this behalf by the Superintendent.
