Section 149(2) in The Coal Mines Regulations, 2011
(2)Every stone dust barrier shall be of such type as may be approved by the Chief Inspector by a general or special order in writing and shall be maintained in such manner as may be specified in the said order:Provided that the Chief Inspector may permit in any mine or part thereof alternative precautionary measures to be taken in lieu of stone dust barriers.
