Section 4(1) in West Bengal Shops and Establishments Rules, 1964
(1)In the case of a shop or an establishment, not being a shop or an establishment in existence on the date on which the Act applies, the shop-keeper or the employer, as the case may be, shall apply under sub-section (1) of section 16 for registration within 30 days from the date on which the shop or the establishment, as the case may be, commences its business.
