25. Duration of a license and renewal thereof.
- A license granted in Form 11 shall be in force for a period of five years and may be renewed on an application in Form 13 made to the licensing authority which granted the license not less than sixty days before the date of its expiry:[Provided that the validity of the said license shall be subject to fulfilling the criteria as prescribed by the State Government, which shall be certified by the licensing authority or any other authority as may be prescribed for the purpose by the State Government on an annual basis.] [Proviso added by GSR 589(E), dated 16.9.2005 (w.e.f. 16.9.2005).]
