Section 12 in The Bombay Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958
12. Power of State Government to exempt.
- Where the size of a commercial weight or measure renders it impracticable to have any denomination marked on it under the provisions of section 9, or to be stamped under the provisions of section 10 or section 11, the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, exempt such weight or measure from being so marked or stamped.
