Section 28(1) in The Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007
(1)In the event of a vacancy in the office of the Chairman or Vice-Chairman by reason of death, resignation, removal or otherwise, the vacancy shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, be filled, as soon as may be, by election or by nomination of the Chairman or Vice-Chairman, as the case may be.
