Section 24(1) in The Bangalore Metro Railway (Opening of Public Carriage for Passengers) Rules, 2011
(1)The Bangalore metro railway administration when it desires to use rolling stock of new type different from those already running on a section of the Bangalore metro railway, shall apply for sanction for the same to the Central Government through the Commissioner.
