Section 6(10) in Shri Govind Guru University Act, 2015
(10)to hold examinations and to confer degrees, diplomas and other academic distinction on persons who -(a)have pursued course of study in the University or in an affiliated college unless exempted therefrom, in the manner prescribed by the Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations or Rules and have passed the examinations prescribed by the University, or(b)have carried on research as per the conditions prescribed by the Ordinances, Regulation or Rules;
