O R D E R
The High Court, by its impugned order dated 19 September 2019, has observed thus:
“I have also perused the report dated 16.09.2019 received from Addl. Sessions Judge-3. Perusal of the report shows that on 10.4.2019, counsels for all the accused persons, including Signature Not Verified Digitally signed by counsel for accused Gopal Krishan ASHOK RAJ SINGH Date: 2019.12.12 10:40:12 IST Reason: Agarwal/petitioner herein, stated that the case may not be decided till other cases which are at different stages of prosecution evidence are 2 also matured. Be that as it may, since only five witnesses remain to be examined in the cases of other accused as stated by the learned APP for the State, learned trial court is directed to complete the recording of evidence within a period of two weeks from the date fixed in the case so that the case of the petitioner is not delayed and thereafter decide all the cases as expeditiously as possible. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of.” The High Court, having issued a direction for expeditious conclusion of the trial, we reiterate the direction and request the Trial Judge to ensure expeditious disposal of the trial, preferably within a period of three months from the receipt of a certified copy of this order.
The Special Leave Petition is disposed of.
Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
