Section 6(2)(v) in The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2005

(v)to collect from the State Governments, the Central Government and their agencies, the State Electricity Boards or other offices, licensees, companies and firms or any other person, such information, records, documents, reports as may be considered useful for the purpose of efficient discharge of the functions of the Commission under the Act.
