Section 28(3) in Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Act, 1987
(3)While granting recognition, the Board shall specify the status of an approved institution as a post-graduate or degree college as, the case may be, and members of the staff of such institution shall then enjoy the same rights and privileges as are allowed under this Act, and the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations made thereunder to members of the staff of a college of equal status in the University in respect of membership of any authority or body of the University or for appointment as an officer of or an examiner in the University.
