The applicant has sought the information on three issues relating to validity of Adhikari Pariksha conducted by Gurukul Vishwavidhyalaya, Vrindavan, Mathura for the purpose of engagement to GDS posts, whether this Gurukul Certificate would be considered as equivalent to High School Exam of UP Board and other related information.

Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing: The following were present Appellant: Mr. Shyam Sunder Chaudhary through VC Respondent: Mr. Surender Kumar CPIO The appellant stated that he wants to know whether Gurukul Vishwavidhyalaya, Vrindavan, Mathura is recognized by the department or not. The CPIO stated that they have already intimated the appellant vide letter dated 20/09/2013 that the said institution is listed as a fake university on the UGC website and till the UGC recognizes the institution they cannot do anything in the matter.
