The patwari should prepare a map of the site to be granted showing the directions, the adjoining buildings and measurements connecting the site with any permanent or semi-permanent marks in the neighbourhood. All these measurement must be entered in the plotted sketch which must clearly show the scale on which the plot has been made. Rough pencil sketches which are not on scale should not be accepted.
