Section 61(i) in The Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 1965
(i)the Gujarat Faculty of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine constituted under the Gujarat Medical Practitioners' Act 1963 (Gujarat 6 of 1964) shall be dissolved and all property movable and immovable and all rights, powers and privileges of the said Faculty shall be transferred to and vest in the University and shall be applied to the objects and purposes for which the University is established;
