These CCCs are filed under Sections 11 & 12 of the
Contempt of Courts Act by the complainant praying to
initiate contempt proceedings against the accused for
disobeying the order dated 20.4.2012 passed by this
Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.1164-1178/2012.
These CCCs coming on for orders, this day, MOHAN
.M. SHANTANAGOUDAR, J., made the following:-

ORDER
Counter affidavit of accused No.2-Registrar of University of Agricultural Sciences, dated 19.8.2013 is filed along with Annexure-R12. The document at Annexure-R12 contains the list of daily wage workers.
2. Sri Sreenivas, learned advocate appearing for accused Nos.2 and 3 submits that list containing only three pages is produced along with the counter affidavit. He brings to the notice of the Court that the list contains the names of 171 persons. The list at Annexure-R12 is stated to be the first list and the second list will be prepared soon by the Registrar in terms of the order of this Court dated 20.4.2012 passed in WP.Nos.1164-1178/2012.
The counter affidavit as well as the documents are taken on record.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for accused No.1 submits that the list sent by accused No.2-University has reached the State Government on 16.8.2013 and the same is under scrutiny. He also brings to the notice of the Court that this Court in WP.Nos.1164-1178/2012 has granted six months' time to complete the entire process. According to the learned Government Advocate, since the list is received by the State Government on 16.8.2013, they may need at least two months' time to complete the whole exercise.
The aforesaid submissions are recorded. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are dropped, with a direction to accused No.1 to complete the entire exercise as directed by this Court in WP.Nos.1164-1178/2012, disposed of on -7- 20.4.2012, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order.
It is open for the complainants to revive the contempt proceedings by filing separate contempt petition, if need be and in case if this order is violated.
