Section 44(ii) in Table of Reductions and Remissions of Court-fees made by the Governor in Council for the (State) of the Punjab
(ii)that in appeal against a personal decree under rule 6 of Order XXXIV of the first Schedule of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Act V of 1908), when only the personal liability of the defendant and not the amount decreed is in dispute, the fee shall be the same as in declaratory suit namely, Rs. 10 (nineteen and fifty paise vide Act XIX of 1957) if the fee otherwise payable exceeds that amount.
