Section 16 in Indira Gandhi Technological and The Medical Sciences University Act, 2012
16. The Executive Committee.
(1)The Executive Committee shall be the Chief Executive body of the University.(2)Subject to the powers and functions of the Chancellor, the administration, management and control of the University and the income thereof shall be vested with the Executive Committee which shall control and administer the property and funds of the University.
