Section 114(2) in The Navy (Pension) Regulations, 1964
(2)They shall also apply to personnel of the above categories who became non-effective during the period from the 27th October 1947 to 31st May 1953 (both days inclusive), but died on or after the date of commencement of these Regulations : Provided that a pensionary award under this section in respect of individuals of the categories mentioned in sub-regulation (2) shall be made only in cases where the cause of death is attributable to or aggravated by service in the Indian Navy.
