Section 4(i) in Punjab Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2019
(i)To assess the availability of timber in the State by way of appropriate study on demand and supply as and when it decides. State Level Committee shall devise a suitable mechanism for sustainable use of timber in a way that does not affect the forests in the State adversely.
