Section 45(1) in Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority Building Rules, 2013
(1)No septic tank shall be located within thirty meters of any percolation well, water sources or stream used or likely to be used for drinking or domestic purposes or for the manufacture or preparation of any articles of food or drink for human consumption and it shall be readily accessible so as to permit cleaning operations being carried out without interference with the operation of any water borne sanitary installation as a whole.
