Section 18(2) in Uttarakhand Flood Plain Zoning Act, 2012
(2)In default of any such agreement, the Flood Zoning Authority shall, after holding such enquiry as it considers necessary, make an award determining :-(a)the amount of compensation to be paid under section 17; and(b)the apportionment, if any, of such compensation among persons known or believed to be interested therein;Provided that where the amount of compensation exceeds ten thousands rupees, no award shall be made without the previous approval of the State Government or such other officer as the State Government may authorized in this behalf.
