CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD
ORAL ORDER
6 26-08-2022Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
This revision application has been preferred against the interim order directing payment of Rs. 2000/- per month as maintenance to the applicant-wife.
In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in the case of Md. Akil Ahmad vs. The State of Bihar & Ors. reported in 2016 (4) PLJR 968, the revision application is not maintainable. Moreover, it appears Patna High Court CR. REV. No.1039 of 2018(6) dt.26-08-2022 2/2 that the revision has been filed with a delay of over 44 days.
In the circumstances, this application is dismissed as not maintainable. Petitioner may, if so advised, avail his remedy in accordance with law.
