The petitioners pray for a direction to the respondents to count the service rendered by them on work charge basis towards their regular service for the purpose of grant of pension and retiral dues.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition at this stage without issuance of notice to the other side with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim as set out by the petitioners in the Legal Notice (Annexures P-5 and P-6) and take a conscious decision thereon by passing a speaking order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
