Section 11(3) in The Nalanda Open University Act, 1995
(3)The Vice-Chancellor shall be a whole time officer and shall hold office for a term of three years from the date on which he assumes charge of the office. On the expiry of the said term he may be re-appointed for another terms not exceeding three years.
