Facts:
1. The appellant was heard on 1st April, 2010.
2. The appellant has asked for information relating to alleged installation of ATM by the SBI at M/s New Universal Automobile Dealers, Karnal. In response to the RTI application, the CPIO and the Appellate Authority have duly replied and furnished a point-wise response, with which the appellant is, however, not satisfied. There is, however, no denial of information u/s 8(1) of the Act.
3. In the course of hearing, the information asked for and the details of responses given by the CPIO's of the respondents, BPCL and SBI were discussed.
Decision:
4. Since there is no denial of information u/s 8(1) of the Act, the appellant is advised to seek inspection of the relevant records and files so as to clearly identify and specify the required information, which should be furnished to him as i "If you don't ask, you don't get." - Mahatma Gandhi 1 per the provisions of the Act. Both the parties should mutually decide a convenient date and time for inspection of the documents within one month from the date of receipt of this decision.
5. The appeal is thus disposed of.
