Section 146(d) in Police Regulations, Calcutta, 1968
(d)On return of the slips from the Bureau, the Criminal Record Office shall fill up one copy from the search slip and file it with the history sheet if there is one. They shall send the other copy together with the search slip to the Court Inspector concerned and he shall forward them to the Investigating Officer.
