25. Counting of service rendered on permanent part-time basis.
(1)In case of an employee who was employed on a permanent part-time basis in the service of the Bank in accordance with the erstwhile rules of appointment applicable to him and was contributing to the Employees' Provident Fund, the service rendered by him on a permanent part-time basis from the date of such contribution, shall be counted as qualifying service.(2)For the purpose of calculating the amount of pension in respect of a permanent part-time employee, the length of qualifying service shall be determined in accordance with Form IV.(3)For the purpose of calculating the amount of pension under this regulation, the actual service rendered shall be taken as qualifying service and in such cases the actual pay drawn at the time of retirement shall be reckoned for the purpose of average emoluments.
