Section 38(2) in Model Rules, 2011 under Bengal Ferries Act, 1885

(2)Notwithstanding the said repeal anything done or any action taken under any of the provisions of these rules so repealed shall ,in so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of these rules ,be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of these rules.Appendix -A[See rule 3 (b)]It is therefore allotted to the District specified in column (2) of the table below , the groups of letters specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof, to be used as registration mark for each district for the purpose of these rules.
