Section 25(6)(iii) in Bihar State Universities (Patna, University of Bihar, Bhagalpur and Ranchi) Act, 1960

(iii)Where it is proposed to appoint any teacher to be the Head of a department who is not the senior-most Professor, University Professor or Reader of the department no appointment shall be made under this sub-section except with the prior concurrence of the State Public Service Commission.
