(8)An Inspector-General may specify an officer who shall exercise the disciplinary powers of a Deputy Inspector-General in respect of persons belonging to or doing detachment duty at his Head Quarters.Explanation. - In sub-rules (1) and (3) the word "Officer" shall include Assistant Commanders and Rangers Grade I.
