Section 18(1) in The Gujarat Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953
(1)If the State Government is satisfied that the Board has made default in performing any duties imposed on it by or under this Act or has abused its power, the State Governments may by notification in the Official Gazette supersede and reconstitute the Board 49 [in the manner specified in sub-section (7) of section 4 for constitution of the Board. ]Provided that before issuing the notification under this sub-section, the State Government will give a reasonable opportunity to the Board to show cause why it should not be superseded and shall consider the explanations objections, if any, of the Board.
