47. Subject to the provisions contained in Regulations 42, 43 and 44 :
(i)If, after the completion of any transfer, under these Regulations, the number of the votes of any candidate shall be equal to or greater than the quota, he shall be declared elected.(ii)If the number of the votes of any such candidates shall be equal to the quota, the whole of the ballot papers on which such votes are recorded shall be set aside as finally dealt with.(iii)If the number of the votes of any such candidate is larger than the quota, his surplus shall thereupon be distributed in the manner hereinbefore provided before the exclusion of any other candidate.
