Section 12(vii) in The West Bengal Universities (Control of Expenditure) Act, 1976
(vii)The age of superannuation for teachers as well as for Principals shall be 60 years and thereafter no further extension in service shall be given. A teacher who has already been given extension on attaining the age of 60 years on January 1, 1973 or thereafter shall continue to be in the old scale of pay during the period of extension.
