Section 33(3)(b) in The Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1960

(b)Any landlord who recovers possession on the ground specified in clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 14 and fails to carry out the undertaking referred to in clause (b) of sub-section (2) of the said section without any reasonable excuse or fails to comply with the order of the Controller under sub-section (1) of section 16 shall, on conviction, be punishable with fine which may extend to [two thousand rupees] [Substituted for 'one thousand rupees' by Tamil Nadu Act 23 of 1973.].
