Section 10(1) in Nagercoil City Municipal Corporation Act, 2019
(1)There shall be appointed by the Government, by notification, a Special Officer to exercise the powers, perform the duties and discharge the functions of-(a)the council,(b)the standing committee,(c)the Commissioner, and(d)the wards committee.
