Section 2(g) in The Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Rules, 1996
(g)[ "Mobile Medical Unit" means a mobile vehicle which provides specialised facilities for the patients, requiring basic specialist services and provides improved access to health care facilities and equitable distribution of health services at the doorsteps, across the country especially in the underserved areas.
