(1)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the electoral roll of the [Legislative Assembly of the State] [Substituted by the Amendment Act 1 of 1997.] for the time being in force for such part of the ward of a Panchayat shall be deemed to be the list of voters for such Panchayat wards.
