Section 1 in Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grievances Redressal Forum and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2004
1. Short title, commencement and interpretation.
(1)These Regulations may be called the Orissa Electricity Regulatory Commission (Grievances Redressal Forum ana Ombudsman) Regulations, 2004.(2)These Regulations shall be applicable to the Distribution Licensees in the State in their respective areas of supply.(3)These Regulations shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.(4)The Orissa General Clauses Act, 1937 shall apply to the interpretation of these Regulations.
