Section 62(1) in The Maharashtra Industrial Relations Act, 1946
(1)The State Government shall by general or special order notified in the Official Gazette fix a time limit for the completion of each stage of the conciliation proceedings provided for under this Chapter:Provided that, the total period fixed for the completion of all stages of a conciliation proceeding shall not exceed one month from the date on which the dispute is entered by the Conciliator in the register under section 55 or is referred to a Board under section 59:Provided further that, the State Govenment may extend the said period of one month by a further period of a fortnight at a time but not exceeding in any case two months in the aggregate.
