1. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following directions:
"(i) Issue appropriate writ/direction to the respondents no. l, 2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 10.06.2022, 01.07.2022, 05.08.2022 and 10.08.2022 made by the petitioner in accordance with the applicable laws/Rules/ Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:GARIMA MADAN Signing Date:25.08.2022 12:29:15 Regulations, and;
(ii) Issue appropriate writ/direction to the respondents no. 1, 2 & 3 for cancellation of candidature/cadre allocation/ appointment of respondent no. 4 pursuant to the result dated 30.05.2022 declared by respondent no. 3 and the cadre allocation list dated 04.08.2022 issued by respondent no. 1; and
(iii) Quash the cadre allocation list dated 04.08.2022 and any action pursuant thereto qua Respondent no.
4."
2. After some arguments, learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits on instructions that for the present, the petitioner would be satisfied if the respondents are directed to decide the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2022.
3. Issue notice. Mr. Kirtiman Singh and Mr. Naresh Kaushik accept notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1 & 2 and respondent no. 3, respectively.
4. Keeping in view the limited relief now being sought by the petitioner, no notice is required to be issued to respondent no. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the respondents to decide the petitioner's representation within a period of four weeks.
5. A copy of the order passed on the petitioner's representation will be communicated to the petitioner as also to learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. Needless to state, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim and in case the petitioner is aggrieved by any order passed by the respondents, it will be open for him to Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:GARIMA MADAN Signing Date:25.08.2022 12:29:15 seek legal recourse as permissible in law. This would, however, not imply that the Court has expressed any opinion regarding the maintainability of the any similar writ petition, which the petitioner may file.
